In any client, you can put "." in front of a chat message for this effect.

(This and other syntax is documented in the Chatline help, but you can't see that in the SDL client...)

Allied Chat on SDL Client

Hi there,

I'm using the SDL 2.3.0 client on Debian 6.0.3, and am wondering how to chat with allies only. I know that Tab lets me chat with everyone, but I'm wondering if there's another key to onlychat with allies.

Thanks.
