I can confirm this as well, at least they don't show in the metaserver, neither does freeciv-debian.

Seems like it's working now. I saved my preferred under marioxcc__ , loaded them again in other server instance, compared the output to /show changed, and there was no difference. Thanks!. By the way, what happens if I do a /save under a name already under use?. Does the previous game gets overwritt...
