Question about the Corruption

Postby Gorillaz » Tue Mar 29, 2011 1:54 pm

Hey guys, I want to reduce the corruption but i need to know some information about it, How is the corruption calculated in freeciv 2.2.x? (equation). In that vein i want to know, what is the effect_corruption_government(x) meaning?

Last two rows of the table.

So, under despotism a capital with 100 trade will have 37 corruption. Under despotism, a city suffers an additional 4% corruption for every tiles way from the capital, so a city 3 tiles away from the capital with 100 trade would have 49 corruption. A city 10 tiles away would have 77.

effect_corruption_despotism0 reflects the base value (37) while effect_Corruption_despotism1 reflects the distance value (4).

I just realized that you can't sell your palace in Freeciv. Huh.
