I'm new to this website and I do love freeciv and I would love to play a game, but it seems like the only one on the list is already filled up for the active players. I was wondering how exactly one goes about getting another game started up.
What *may* happen is that you take over Brasillians in GT10-Hex, who haven't logged in for 30 turns (and game is at turn 45). That would mean being a bit behind, but knowing the surroundings, I'd say it's possible to catch up. So, the question is, is this possible. I suggest sending a PM to Davide who is the admin around here.
I'm fine with waiting, I just didn't know they would be starting one shortly after the G11, I can wait. I'm just really curious about a large scale freeciv. I'm no expert player but I've played a lot of single player freeciv games.
If we had some Team games, newbies could join games and learn from experienced allies. I strongly advocate to build a Team game every other 3 or 4 matches, as it used to happen in longturn.org
I totally support this initiative The unfortunate gt8 for example though me and Lgos some things, even though I would think we play moderately well. So I think everyone could learn from that.
