The x16 revenue reduction is relative to the default ruleset, and remains so for GT01 as well.
Civ2Civ3 has no rapture
by its own.
What about the city trade bonus? Is it currently the same as with GT01? I can stay with it but the exaggerated amount of $ and bulbs that EVERY single caravan moveing inside my GT01 empire could instantly generate, was an insane advantage (I can remember 1,500$/bulbs per time). I could have exploit this advantage even more but I really didn't *like* it. It is not a nice way of winning. Maybe we can re-cast the poll with these options:
1. No change (=GT01 settings)
2. halving city trade
3. halving instant $/bulbs revenue
4. halving both trade and instant revenue
5. disable routes
