I got green light from Davide to start the game earlier when the game is full. Recruit some additional people to get this started!

Well, whenever you wish.
I can manually confirm every user who is not yet, so they would be able to receive emails from the server and from admins. (you know.. bureaucracy )
Before starting the match, I would first send a mass-email to everybody to inform them about the start date, then maybe wait at least a couple of days

Edit: Ok, everybody is magically confirmed now.

Ok, start date Friday the 14. of march. But you have to magically disconfirm some players who haven't picked a nation!

Sure, as soon as we'll have all the nations taken by some human guy, I'll unconfirm some surplus :)
Of course, who has never ever posted a message on forum would be a target (these are generally the most probable idlers, anyway)

We've informed all users about the anticipated start date via email, and I've scheduled the date in the webpanel, so server will start automatically this Friday :)
