I've generated a test-map on GT10-Hexmap's server with all the game configuration in place (ruleset + settings). This is what the minimap looks like:

It's scaled 2:1. The map is pretty small because the server datasheet lacks any map size definition, so the map size folds back to the default setting of 4k tiles. If this is not intentional, there's still some time to add size definitions to the datasheet, before the server will be frozen for tomorrow's start.

I don't know about others, but the regularity of those white patches kills it for me.

As I can not access settings now, please Davide could you increase map size to something like 10k-15k per player, then it should be much better.

This test-map has been generated with the same settings as the previous one, but with tilesperplayer = 1000 (the proposed 10000 is out of range).

That's only the visible part of the minimap: a moderately-large outer frame remained invisible beyond x-y scroll bars.

Hmmm... Maybe you can just unlock the map from its location, stretch it out and screenshoot it :mrgreen:

Tilesperplayer should probably be set to a lower value. I've searched around the polls but I see no mention to what the map size should be, so I'll need morphles to take care of this :)

There was no mention for it. Well it looked good with 1k, but (luckily as I managed to get access to my main pc :) ) I set it to 700, it should be good as well, and a little bit less spaced out.
