Bah, ignore me, I'm just pissed... It'll pass...

Look at the date of the readme file, maybe it is from the version gt09 is using. I think gt10 games are using the newest version, at least the hex game.

I have allies with shared vision. When looking at some of their ships, I can see what they are carrying, but looking at some of their *other* ships (that I see are loaded) I can't see which units are on. Any explanation?

(the ships I can inspect contain also military units so that's probably not the criteria)

I've noticed that too. I think it's governed by direct vision -- i.e. you can see what's in a ship if it's within visual range of one of your units. But.. I could be wrong!

That is all.

I think it is because you aren't allied with those nations, but you still share the vision because of the "chain of vision".

Allow me to repeat:

However, thinking back, it's possible that it depends on my original "line of sight". I'll look into it.

Does anyone know in what order things are done at the beginning of the turn? So far I had two GoTo vs. GoTo situations and I lost both times (and the second one were two units identical in all aspects).

Random order for every turn.

Just confirmed that this is *not* the case. An ally's ship is sitting in front of my city and I can't see what's on it.

I caught something in some other thread, just checking if I got it right: cannons have regular power when attacking a city, but half the power when attacking units in the field? Does that apply to all "Big" units?
